Born on May 24, 1959 in the village of Chkalovsky, Moscow Region.
In 1984, he graduated from the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute and entered the Gogol Moscow Drama Theatre, where he worked until 1990.
From 1984 to 1986, he served in the Soviet Army, in the 11th separate cavalry regiment, where he was the senior sergeant of a cavalry squadron.
From 1990 till 2025 (with a break from 2003 to 2011) Alexander Andrienko worked at the Mayakovsky Theatre, where he played about 40 significant roles.
