Alla Kozhenkova

Laureate of the Crystal Turandot Award (the best
stagecraft of the 2006-2007 theatre season), Laureate of the Gold Soffite Award

Alla Vladimirovna Kozhenkova was born 6 July,
1940 in St.Petersburg. In 1962 she graduated from The
Saint Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy (Nikolay Akimov and Tatiana Bruni’s
course). Her first play, Warsaw Melody,
was staged in The St.Petersburg Maly Drama Theatre. Kozhenkova has created
stagecraft and costumes for more than 400 dramas, operas and ballets.

Alla Kozhenkova has worked both in Russian theatres – in Moscow (The
Vakhtangov Theatre, The Moscow Art Theatre, The Satirikon Theatre and many
others), St.Petersburg (Mariinsky Theatre, The Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama
Theatre), other Russian cities, and abroad as well (Japan, the USA). She has
worked with such celebrities as Vladimir Mirzoev, Mark Rozovski, Arkady Raikin,
Konstantin Raikin and Roman Viktyuk.
