Meritorious Artist of the RFHe graduated from the Yaroslavl Theatre School and worked as an actor at the Bryansk Young Generation Theatre.In 1968 he graduated from the Schukin Theatre School in Moscow, Directing Faculty. The graduation performance he staged in Sovetsk (Kaliningrad region), where he continued to work as a director, and in 1991 became The Art Director of the theatre.In 1998-1999 he was the chief director of the Drama Theatre in Kaliningrad, and then returned to Sovetsk.Since November of the year 2003 he has been the chief director of the Omsk Drama Theatre.He staged about 60 performances.At the Vakhtangov Theatre he staged performances: “The Lion in Winter” by D. Goldman, “Othello” by W. Shakespeare.
