Choreographer Anjelika Kholina began the rehearsals of “Anna Karenina” play (in 2 parts) that is based on Tolstoy’s novel. The music for the play – Alfred Schnittke.Scenography – Marius Yatsovskis. Costume designer and make-up artist – Yuozas Statkjavichus. Lighting designer – Tadas Valeyka. In the rehearsals participate: People’s Artist Yevgeniy Knyazev, Honoured artist of the Russian Federation Inna Alabina, Vera Novikova, Olga Lerman, Dmitry Solomykin, Yekaterina Kramzina, Anastasiya Vasilieva, Fyodor Vorontsov, Mariya Volkova, Aleksandr Soldatkin, Leonid Bichevin, Vasiliy Simonov, Yekaterina Simonova, Artur Ivanov, Nino Kantariya, Marina Khramova. The premiere is scheduled on 20 April, 2012.
