September 4, 2012 the theatre named after Eug. Vakhtangov opens its 92 season. Traditionally on this day a company reunion takes place.

The artistic director Rimas Tuminas will talk about creative plans of the theatre for the season 2012 – 2013, the inauguration of First Studio of the Vakhtangov Theatre. The economic results of the past season and the prospects for the future will be announced by the theater director Kirill Krok. Further anniversaries of company members and young  newcomers will be introduced as well. In the evening, the audience will meet with leading figures of the Vakhtangov Theater – Yulia Borisova, Vladimir Etush, Yuri Yakovlev, Vasily Lanovoy, Lyudmila Maksakova, Vyacheslav Shalevich, GalinaKonovalova, Irina Kupchenko and Yevgeny Knyazev, and many others in the anniversary production “Haven”, directed by Rimas Tuminas.
