In 1936, the first issue of the newspaper “Vakhtangovets” was released. Newspaper was published until 1941, several issues were still edited in the mid 60’s. Today the theater has decided to continue this proud tradition.In October 2012, publishing of the newspaper “Vahtangovets” was revived. Its editorial board includes: Rimas Tuminas, Kirill Krok, Anton Prokhorov, Irina Sergeeva, Margarita Litvin, Lyudmila Ostropolskaya, Valery Myasnikov. Design layout – Maxim Obrezkov, author of the texts – Valentina Fedorova.The paper will cover the current events of the theater, publish articles on its history and the personalities, inform on the current plans for the theater, its touring life and the Vakhtangov actors’ life off-stage.The monthly edition of the newspaper, A3, consists of four bands. The materials are illustrated by the best pictures from the archives of the theater.Each member of the audience will be able to receive the first issue of the newspaper as a gift.
