April 5 the II Festival of children’s performances “The BLUE BIRD LEAGUE” gets started. It was initizted by the Theatre Prize “Crystal Turandot” and the Central Children’s Store on Lubyanka street. The aim of the festival is the popularization of performances for children and encouraging of the theatres to their staging. The second festival “The BLUE BIRD LEAGUE” presents to the audience 11 performances for children, produced in the most famous theaters of the Moscow city. The Honor of opening of the festival is provided to the director of the performance “The Puss in Boots” of the Vakhtangov Theatre, Vladimir Ivanov. Each of the eleven performances is an event in itself: the big premiere, a super hit or the most popular production of the season. The audience is, of course, the one to choose the best of the best. The voting for the best production will be held on April 5 to 27, right at the theatre, or via the festival page on the website of the Central Children’s store on Lubyanka street www.cdm-moscow.ru There will be selected two best performances in the categories “up to 8 years” and “from 8 to 15 years”.
