The First Studio of the Vakhtangov Theatre despite its “young age” has already participated in theater festivals in Russia and Lithuania more than once. The performance “Peleas and Melisande” staged by Vladimir Agueev in January 2014 after the play written by Maurice Maeterlinck, is invited to the International Festival “At the Trinity”.

The festival named “At the Trinity” will be held in the year of celebration of the 700th anniversary of the birth of St. Sergiy in the city of Sergiev Posad. The event is organized with support of Ministry of Culture of the Moscow region and the city administration.

The festival period lasts from 13 to 22 June. The festival will be attended by 17 Russian and foreign theater groups.

“Peleas and Melisande” will be presented on June 14 on the stage of the Theatre Centre “Dubrava” out of competitive program.
