From March 31 to April 4, a tour of the State AcademicVakhtangov Theatre was held in the city of St. Petersburg. Four different productions were performed on the stage of the Aleksandrinsky Theatre. The tour schedule contains the following productions of the Vakhtangov Theatre:

–  “Wind in the Poplars” written by the French playwright Gérald Sibleyras (directed by Rimas Tuminas). The cast: Vladimir Simonov, Maxim Sukhanov and Vladimir Vdovichenkov.

–  “Enigma Variations” written by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt (directed by Sergey Yashin). The cast: Vasily Lanovoi, Eugeny Knyazev and Eldar Tramov.

– “Uncle’s Dream”based on the novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky. The performance directed by Vladimir Ivanov. Cast: Vladimir Etush, Maria Aronova, Anna Dubrovskaya, Oleg Makarov, Elena Sotnikova, Marina Yesipenko and others.

  –  “Masquerade” by Mikhail Lermontov, staged by Rimas Tuminas. The cast: Evgeny Knyazev, Lydia Velezheva, Leonid Bichevin, Maria Volkova, Yuriy Shlikov and others.
