September 9 to October 18, the XII Arts Festival “Baltic Seasons” was held in Kaliningrad. The program of this year includes seven productions. The event brings together five different theatre companies.

The program 2015 of “Baltic Seasons” festival this time consists only of “modern classics”.Within the frameworks of the festival Kaliningrad features theater productions from Moscow and St. Petersburg.

The Vakhtangov Theater performs “Anna Karenina” (choreographic production based on the novel by Leo Tolstoy) on the stage of the Kaliningrad Regional Drama Theatre, October 17, 18. Director-choreographer Anzelika Cholina.

The Baltic tour continues in Vilnius. The Lithuanian National Drama Theatre (LNDT) to host three choreographic productions by Anzelica Cholina: “Anna Karenina” (October 20), “Coast of Women” — choreographic composition based on the songs of Marlene Dietrich (October 21) and “Othello” — choreographic production based on the play by William Shakespeare (October 22,23 ).

Cast of the tour includes such renowned actors as People’s Artist of Russia Yevgeny Knyazev, Olga Lerman, Dmitry Endaltsev Gregory Antipenko, Victor Dobronravov, Honored Artist of Russia Marina Yesipenko, Honored Artist of Russia Inna Alabina, Sergei Epishev, Vera Novikova, Eugenia Kregzhde and many others.
