On Saturday in the town of Honfleur on the Atlantic coast of France the Jury of the XXIII Russian Film Festival (Festival du Cinema Russe) has awarded Alexei Guskov the prize as “Best Actor” in the film “Godsend” (directed by Victor Dement).

In the same category the prize was also awarded to Jawahir Zakirov (the film “Escape from Moskvabad”, directed by Darya Poltoratskaya).

Moreover, the film “Godsend” has won the award in the region Basse-Normandie for the best debut and has become the best film, according to the audience, having as well received the Audience Award.

The film festival jury was headed by a renowned French actor Stephen Freys and the producer Mei-Chen Chalet as an honorary chairman.
