Kirill Krok has received the Prize for the Contribution to the Russian Culture

The General Manager of the Vakhtangov State Academic Theatre of Russia Kirill Krok received The Prize for the Contribution to the Russian Culture. He has been awarded by the Minister for Culture Vladimir Medinsky at the opening ceremony of the Memorial Museum of Eugeniy Vakhtangov, the establisher of our Theatre.

Lately Vladimir Medinsky has mentioned at the Ministry for Culture forum that the Vakhtangov Theatre is the leading drama theatre according to the criteria of efficiency. In 2015 the extra-budgetary recourses of the Vakhtangov Theatre amounted 515 million rubles. Within the last 2 years the ratio between budget funding and extra-budgetary recourses has been varying between 180% — 190%.

According to the speech of the Minister for Culture the Vakhtangov Theatre proves the importance of its strategy of the highest respect to its origins and its establisher.
