The Vakhtangov Theatre is strongly connected with the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute. Evgeny Vakhtangov started training actors several years before he established the theatre on Arbat street. On the 90th anniversary of the Institute an old tradition was re-established: the students of the Institute introduce their works and skills to the audience. 

The report performance “Learning to be actors!” gives an impression of the stages of actor development in the Institute.

Participants of the report performance on June, 2: students of the second and the third term under direction of E. Knyazev, A. Dubrovskaya, E. Odintsova, V. Nikolaenko, M. Shvydkaya, V. Sazhina. The chief of the Actind Department Pavel Lubimtsev took part in the performance.

The conferenciers of the performance — students Nutsa Khubulava, Dmitriy Lomakin, Islam Murzabekov. The director of the performance — V. Stasuk.
