Famous British actor Ralph Fiennes, familiar to Russian audiences for the films “Schindler’s List” and “The English patient”, and for the role of Voldemort in the “Harry Potter” movies, attended the Vakhtangov theatre to see Sergey Makovetsky as Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya.

Ralph Fiennes had already seen “Uncle Vanya” production by Rimas Tuminas twice – in Moscow and in London, where the Vakhtangov theatre was on tour. Ralph Fiennes calls “Uncle Vanya” his favourite performance, a show of his heart.

The 30th of March, a young actor Vitālijs Semjonovs debuted as servant Efim. Rafe Fiennes congratulated Vitālijs Semjonovs.
