The meeting “Culture is a national priority” was held in Omsk, Russia at April 25. Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev performed at the final discussion of the meeting.

“Cultural policy aims at cherishing and supporting libraries, theatre, cinema, museums, all arts Russia has been famous for since centuries”, said Dmitry Medvedev.

Kirill Krok participated in the discussion devoted to the development of theatre and musical arts. In particular, he addressed problems of provincial theatres struggling to attract attention of regional governors and to promote leading actors known and loved by their public but not receiving official recognition from the Ministry for culture.
