‘Sergeev and the Town’ show has become the first premiere of the 97th season of the Vakhtangov Theatre.

This performance is based on the novel written by Oleg Zaionchkovsky and staged by Svetlana Zemliakova. Set designer is Denis Sazonov, and light designer is Sergey Vasiliev.

Cast includes: Maxim Sevrinovsky, Maria Berdinskikh, Denis Samoylov, Yuri Polyak, Olga Borovskaya, Polina Chernyshova, Vladimir Logvinov, Kseniya Kubasova, Yuriy Tsokurov

The characters of the story inhabit a small town, they all are acquainted to each other. They are different: kind or aggressive, ridicules or romantic, rude or polite. One of them is a writer, he is nice but weak. Time itself seems to be trapped and stopped in this town.

The audience reaction suggests that the show is going to be one of hits of the new season.
