At the beginning of its 97th season, The Vakhtangov Theatre takes part in the all-Russia Programme ‘Big Theatre Tours’. For four seasons, the Programme opens opportunities to theatre amateurs of various regions to see performances of the leading Russian theatres.

In Saratov, these tours are supported by the Ministry for Culture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry for culture of the Republic of Karelia. In the period of September 27-30, the Vakhtangov Theatre presents three shows on stage of the State Drama Theatre named after Ivan Slonov.
