The ‘Lessons of directing art Festival’ is a part of the ‘Theatre biennale’ project supported be the Government of the Russian Federation.

Rimas Tuminas, the artistic director of our theatre, receives the award for “the lesson of theatre illusion and directing mystery” for the play ‘Fake note’. Rimas Tuminas couldn’t attend the ceremony since he represented the Vakhtangov Theatre at the ‘Russian Seasons’ in Milan at the moment. His students received the award for their Master.

Yuri Butusov, the chief-director of our theatre, receives the award for “the lesson of hardcore conceptual art” for the play ‘Hamlet’ (running in Lensovet Theatre, Saint-Petersburg).
