Brand new initiative –  Vakhtangov festival for theatre managers – was held in Moscow on December 5-9, 2019. Venues included: Vakhtangov Theatre, Skolkovo Innovation Centre, GUM and the Bolshoi Theatre.

The festival is organized by Kirill Krok, the general manager of the Vakhtangov Theatre. Festival aims to create a platform for studying innovative methods in the field of theatre management, for networking and sharing best practices.

In addition to the main training sessions, the Vakhtangov Prize in the field of theatre organization for young professionals was awarded for the first time.
