‘ANNA FRANK, THE DIARY’ is one of our most popular recent premiers. It was first performed on the 18th of March, 2019. The play is staged at the Simonov playhouse (named after two glorious directors of the XX century) by Ekaterina Simonova. Ekaterina is a member of the wonderful talented theatre dynasty. Her father Ruben Simonov plays Mr. van Daan.

The play is based on the real historical document. It is a book of the writings from the Dutch language diary kept by Anne Frank while she was in hiding for two years with her family during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands.

In January 2020 ‘ANNA FRANK, THE DIARY’ goes on tour for the first time. It will be performed at the Tambov Youth Theatre.

Tambov is a city and the administrative centre of Tambov Oblast, central Russia, located at about 480 km south-southeast from Moscow.
