Our artistic leader Rimas Tuminas is working on a large-scaled performance after the great novel ‘War & peace’ by Lev Tolstoy.

This production is to gather almost all Vakhtangov Theatre company, as it was done 10 years before by the legendary ‘Heaven’.

Rimas Tuminas prefers keeping silent till the premiere. The first night of ‘War & peace’ is scheduled to the beginning of November. This is for the 100th anniversary if the Vakhtangov Theatere celebration. Our Theatre turns 100 on the 13th of November 2021.
