Honored Artist of RussiaTatyana Kirillovna Kopteva – actress and teacher – was born on March 20, 1921.She studied at the Theatre School named after BV Shchukin in 1939-41 and 1944-45. She is a student of Cecilia Mansurova.She worked in the Theater of Eugene Vakhtangov from 1945 to 1959.She was a  lecturer and professor (1978) at Shchukin School since 1947.She  was forced to leave the scene, and turned to teaching iIn 1958.Kopteva differed by almost motherly attitude towards his students and has brought such great actors as Eugene Karelian, Galevsky Alexander, Alexander Pavlov, Feliks Antipov, Alexander Vilkin, Vitaly Shapovalov, Olga Gavrilyuk, Vladimir Gerasimov, Viktor Proskurin, Alexander Davydov, Ludmila Davydov, Vladimir Puchkov, etc.Tatyana Kopteva passed away on July 20, 1994.
