Theatre artist

Sergey Petrovich Isakov was born 10 May, 1900. He studied in N.Shlein’s studio and then on K.Yuon’s in Moscow. Isakov began his work ib the Vakhtangov in 1921. The most prominent decorations are those made in 1920s for the plays on the Soviet reality. Since 1933 he worked mostly as a projector artist in social work institutions. Sergey Isakov died 5 March, 1967.
