He worked in theaters in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Arkhangelsk.From 1942 to 1954 and from 1963 to 1965 he worked in the theater of Eugene.akhtangov.In 1955 – 1956 years – a theater named after VI. Mayakovsky.From 1956 to 1963 he was an actor of the Moscow Art Theatre named after Maxim Gorky.Sergey Lukyanov died on March 1, 1965.
