On the Eve (1948)

In the production of Turgenev’s “On the Eve” (stage director A. Gabovich), wonderful and poetic were A. Gunchenko who, being a second year student, was invited for the role of Elena Stakhova, and young A. Parfanyak who alternated her. Sculptor Shubin (Yu. Lubimov) and Insarov (M. Astangov) were also a success.
