The American playwright Neil Simon wrote his play about how people find each other. And about the difficulties they face trying to sort out their feelings from the past, that interfere with their present, new sensations which they are not yet ready to, about finding your own self in a partner and after having overcome a long way of recognition, understanding the need for tolerance and compromise.

It is a simple story, and maybe we find it so interesting due to its familiarity.
