Arkady Nemerovsky

Meritorious Artist of the RF  Arkady Borisovich Nemerovsky on 30 October 1910. He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Moscow University (1932).Moscow fencing champion, a member of the National Fencing Team of the USSR.Ruben Simonov’s student (1932-1934) and an actor of Ruben Simonov’s Theatre-Studio (1934-1937).In 1937 he graduated from the Schukin Theatre School.He worked at the Vakhtangov Theatre from 1937 till 1973.He was a professor and the head of the Stage Movement Department of GITIS.He taught at the Schukin (1942-1980), Schepkin Theatre Schools and Moscow Art Theatre School.Being a prominent expert in stage combat and movement, he directed stage combats and trained plastique in the performances directed by Ruben Simonov, Nikolay Okhlopkov, Andrey Goncharov, and Vsevolod Meyerhold.Arkady Borisovich Nemerovsky died on 28 September 1993.
