Alexander Kozlovskiy

Alexander Dmitriyevich Kozlovskiy was born in 1892.He was Yevgeny Vakhtangov’s student (1915-1920), an actor, director, composer.He worked at the Vakhtangov Theatre from 1920 till 1940.He was a teacher at the Vakhtangov Theatre School.Boris Schukin once gave Kozlovskiy his picture with inscription: “To Alexander Dmitriyevich Kozlovskiy. To my dearest friend, who is attentive to me, whom I love and respect. To a serious actor and man as a keepsake. Boris Schukin. 1 October 1926.”Alexander Dmitriyevich Kozlovskiy died in 1940.
