Vera Konstantinovna Lvova was born on December 1, 1898 in Moscow.She was a student of Vakhtangov (1917-1919) and one of the founders of Mansurov Studio.Served in the theater of Eugene Vakhtangov from 1916 to 1985.Lvova was an outstanding educator (1920-1985) and professor at the Shchukin School and artistic director of the eight courses.Together with her husband, Leonid Moiseevich Shikhmatov, she brought a great variety of actors: Yuri Lyubimov, Nikolai Gritsenko, Tselikovskaya Ludmila, Larisa Pashkov, Vladimir Etush, Yuliya Borisova, Lyudmila Fetisov, Mikhail Ulyanov, Nina Doroshina, Leonid Kanevsky, Queen Helen, Yuri Nazarov, Igor Ohlupin, Catherine Raikin Chursina Ludmila, Alexander Kalyagin Valentin Smirnitskiy, Vertinskaya Anastasia, Ivan Dykhovichny, Alexander Kaidanovsky, Nina Ruslanova, Leonid Filatov, Sergei Prokhanov, Alexander Trofimov, Stanislav Zhdanko, Yuri Belyaev, Sergey Ursulyak.

Vera Lvova passed away on September 24, 1985.
